The Jewish Museum

Architect: Daniel Libskind, 2001.

The museum documents the history of German Jews since the arrival of the first Jews to the City of Cologne in west Germany, together with the Romans in 321 Christian Era, until Germany after the holocaust and destruction. Deepen guide and/or self preparing are an obligation, if not – one could miss the essence of visiting there.

Pergamon Museum

Architect: Alfred Masal, 1910.

This is one of the world’s biggest and most important archeology museum. Classic Greece, Babylon, Assyria, Rome, Islamic and east culture are displayed in this museum at their most glory. One must not miss the Pergamon Altar, which is considered as one of the ancient’s world wonders and most impressive archeological exhibits in Europe. Another exciting exhibit is the market gate from Milatus, Greece, since the 2^nd century. Additional world famous exhibit is the gate of the goddess Istar of Babylon since 580 B.C.
